Originally part of the Roman Wall around the City of London, Moorgate gets its name from when it was a gateway to the city back in the 16th Century. It’s sandwiched between Liverpool Street, which lies to the East, and Barbican to the West. CityPoint tower is perhaps the area’s most famous modern landmark. It’s located on Ropemaker Street and was originally called Britannic House. When it was built in 1967, it was the first building in the City that was taller than St Paul’s Cathedral. Fast forward to today and Moorgate is full of flexible workspaces and traditional offices that welcome a range of company sizes and types. From long-established firms to those making their first foray in the world of business, there’s something in Moorgate for everyone.
